Nha Trang Mud Baths

So the eclectic band of travelers I became friends with all travelled down to Nha Trang Vietnam together. We were not very lucky with the weather in this city but there was one thing I recommend doing here! Nha Trang is usually a beach town but the one nice day we had we decided to do a spa day!

Thap Ba Spa

Thap Ba Spa There are a few spas in the area to choose from but we went to this one because there were pools and baths in addition to the mud baths. The cost of a general mud bath entry is about $30 American. When you first arrive you are separated into gendered locker rooms where you can store your stuff for free and are given a towel and then enter the other side to the baths. An employee will take your group to what kind of looks like a mud jacuzzi and run the mud bath for you. Then you get in!

We were surprised by how watery the mud was! We were expecting thick stickiness but were surprisingly surprised that we enjoyed the watery mud! Was way easier to wash off in the showers! We were a group of 6, but you can have a group of up to 10 or 12 in one bath but I think it's more comfortable with fewer people. You are allowed to enjoy the mud bath for about 45 minutes then the mud starts getting cold. After a quick wash off in the outdoor showers you are free to roam around the baths.

There are warmer and colder baths with waterfalls and small slides for the kiddies, or adults... we went down a few times too. There are refreshments all over the park ranging from ice cream and snacks to full lunches. Although we did not get this, you can purchase a ticket that includes a lunch, as well as tickets that allow access to the full waterpark with tubing and huge slides a short shuttle ride away.

Was a relaxing day in mineral waters and enjoying one of the nicer days we had in Nha Trang!

Until next time keep curious!
